Every NovaGate shipment travels on our own bill of lading. These are the ways we can carry your cargo.
All services- 01 Port-to-Port Ocean Freight Ocean carriage from the port of loading to the port of discharge, under a NovaGate bill of lading.
- 02 Combined Transport Pre-carriage from an inland place of receipt to the port of loading, then onward by sea — on one document.
- 03 Transshipment Cargo transferred between vessels at an intermediate port, with the transshipment recorded on your B/L.
- 04 Bills of Lading & Documentation NovaGate issues its own bills of lading as carrier — originals, copies and the particulars your trade depends on.
02 — How a shipment moves
Every stage has a box on your bill of lading.
Follow a NovaGate combined transport shipment from left to right. The labels under each stop are the exact fields printed on our B/L.

Under a free-in / free-out (FIO) agreement, carrier responsibility runs from secure lashing on board at the load port to unlashing at the discharge port. Read the terms of carriage.
